All BecoThings have been designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. The most important material in the BecoThings range is the plastic replacement made from natural plant fibers. It is a composite mixture of 80% bamboo and rice husks. Both of these materials are mixed with a resin that bonds the fibers together. This unique blend of materials also allows for the product to break down in warm damp conditions, like a compost pile. The product will fully biodegrade in about 2-3 years depending on the environmental conditions. |
